About Sam
Sam is a Melbourne-based Green Room Awards nominated Pianist and Musical Director originally from Brisbane with performance experience dating back 15 years. He is passionate about musical theatre and the creative arts, with a performance history of acting in community theatre and playing keys in live productions with audiences of over 2000.
Sam has produced live band performances, including opening for leading Australian blues and roots band 19-Twenty at Brunswick Ballroom. Most recently, Sam played and musically produced ABBASolutely Abbey and BOND GIRL– two one-hour cabaret shows playing across Sydney and Melbourne fringe festivals, earning him a Green Room Awards nomination for Best Musical Direction of a Cabaret. Additionally, Sam is the live keys player for Melbourne-based high vibe, indie rock n roll artist Dan Vogl, performing in several of Melbourne’s local venues.
